2019- A Year of Difference

“If you want to enjoy one of the greatest luxuries in life , the  luxury of having enough time : time to think things through , time to get things done and know you have done them to the best of your ability , time to rest , remember that there is only one way. Take enough time to think and plan things in order of their importance. Your life will take on a new zest , you will add years to your life and more life to your years. Let all  your things have their places. Let each part of your business have its time.” -Benjamin Franklin

We have come to that part of our lives, the start of a new year, where we’re full of new plans & goals and are ready to take on the new year! The new year brings a form of renewed energy and zest, which one hopes to carry through to the end of the year. We too, at No.land farming are excited for what this year will bring.

Before we look forward to what this year has in store for us, we want to first take a look back at some of the highlights of 2018 that made our year the success that it was.

  • Back in February 2018, we met recipe developers & food bloggers A Little Bit of Both, who introduced us to their world: the coming together of both African & Western Cuisine. We have since built a collaborative relationship which saw our inclusion in their Maas-ter class demo day as well as them creating a No.Land Peri Peri sauce for gifting over the Christmas period. Do have a look at their blog, as they have plenty mouth-watering recipes with a tantalizing twist.  Link: http://alittlebitofbothsite.wordpress.com

  • In April 2018, No. Land Farming was selected to participate in the prestigious Pitch@Palace event held at St. James’ Palace in the UK alongside 53 commonwealth countries. Selected out of 20,000 applicants, this event gave us an opportunity to connect others and gain international exposure

  • Mid-year, in July, our two co-founding directors, Wandile Tshabe & Claudia Jones, took part in a Global Accelerator Program: Ingenious Faces, in New Delhi India. This program spanned over a period of 10 days where our two co-founders immersed themselves in the Indian Startup eco-system as well as interacted with mentors across the various fields that made up the delegates. This experience helped accelerate our growth and knowledge of what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

  • The end of year saw us going to various Christmas Markets which gave us an opportunity to meet new No.Landers. We always appreciate moments of contact with people, as we get to share our story as well as allow people to experience what we are all about. We also look forward to having more of the intimate moments of contact in this new year.

In 2019, we look to have a more deeply meaningful and inspiring year. We are also excited to continue this entrepreneurial journey with you, our No.Landers

Here’s to a year of difference!
